Bridge, Curriculum Guide
Course Description: The Bridge year in Visual Arts focuses on building and developing basic draughtsmanship, introducing a variety of media and materials, and cultivating an understanding of the role of Visual Arts in society and individual lives. Drawing and other concrete skills related to craftsmanship will be a priority, but will remain contextualized within pieces that also emphasize the expressive possibilities of art, with the goal of maintaining interest and investment with students who struggle with technical execution.
