Financial Assistance Overview

Financial Assistance Numbers Seven Hills School is very proud to offer an educational experience for middle school boys that is unmatched in the Richmond area and specifically-designed to meet their developmental needs. At the same time, we are fully aware that an independent school education is a major financial investment, and we are committed to providing an exceptional opportunity to talented boys from across the Richmond region. We firmly believe that a stellar education for your son, particularly at this time in his development, is an investment in his future. A Seven Hills School education brings significant returns on your investment through your son’s life.

The financial assistance program is used to help make a Seven Hills School education and experience possible to families who would not otherwise be able to provide this type of education for their son. Seven Hills School wishes to reflect the diversity of our surrounding community and the Richmond-metro area. A goal of our financial assistance program is to create a student population from varying socio-economic backgrounds.

Seven Hills School believes the primary responsibility of paying for Seven Hills tuition and fees lies with the parents or legal guardians of the student, and financial assistance is not a supplement to lifestyle choices or other financial decisions to make it more comfortable for a family to attend.

Seven Hills School is proud to partner with the Clarity Application in order to facilitate online financial aid applications, to gather information - including assets, income, expenses, and debts - and organize supporting documentation, and to audit the financial information for the school.

The use of Clarity creates a more user-friendly application process and a more consistent, objective, and equitable financial aid process for everyone involved allowing Seven Hills to be mission-focused in its financial assistance program.

Our Financial Assistance Program helps bridge the gap between a family’s resources and the total cost of education by reducing a family’s contribution through a financial assistance grant based on demonstrated need. Grants are awarded to families with a variety of household incomes. Financial assistance applications are confidential.

Since every family’s needs are different and many variables determine financial assistance, please contact Drew Lineberger, Assistant Head of School for Advancement, with any specific questions at 804-447-1347.
