Ian joined us by way of Pittsburgh, PA where he served as Program Director of The Scoring Factory—a youth basketball organization. He most recently was a private instructor at Boushall Middle School in RVA. Ian earned his BS in Psychology at Davidson College and a Master’s in Environmental Policy from the University of Denver. He is the author of The Bounce and the Echo: Dying to Love a Game, a research-infused memoir that addresses mental health and identity as they relate to athletics. Ian played professional basketball in Spain, Czech Republic, Sweden, and Hungary, and developed and directed basketball clinics in Honduras, South Africa, Morocco, and India.
