Costumes of fright,

A rush for candy in the night,

That’s halloween

Gummies and candy being bought,

Without a second thought,

Preparing for

The night of Halloween.

Inflatable aliens that give you a hug,

Pugs dressed up as a bug,

All the costumes you see

Only on Halloween.

Bags filled with candy weighing pounds, pounds, pounds,

Are pumpkins oval or are they round?

Then at about eight, nine, ten, or eleven,

The night ends and the wait begins,

The wait for next Halloween.
