Tell us about what you’re up to these days.

I am a student and collegiate wrestler at Rutgers University in New Jersey. I recently became an All American by taking 8th at the NCAA tournament, which has been my ultimate goal as a wrestler since I even attended Seven Hills. In high school, I won four state titles and was ranked as high as #2 in the country.

What skills or knowledge did you learn at Seven Hills that has helped you along the way?

Seven Hills taught me the importance of fun. Life is a balance, and as long as the work is done, fun can be had. In terms of wrestling, Seven Hills most definitely enhanced my competitive edge on the mat.

What is your favorite memory from Seven Hills?

When I look back at my time at Seven Hills I tend to remember all the house competitions, river days, soccer, and Magic the Gathering. I got really good at soccer when I was at Seven Hills.

I don’t know for certain, but I’m pretty sure my house, Unknown Prophecies, which is most definitely the coolest house, won all three years of my attendance at Seven Hills. Not for certain, but I’m pretty sure.

What advice would you give to today’s Seven Hills boys?

As a 7HS student, try as many new things as possible and take every step along the way with a great attitude. You have a wonderful environment around you to do so. I always knew that I was going to Wrestle in college and hopefully continue to the Olympic level (a dream that seems more realistic every day), but I wish I tried more things and took more opportunities to try things like art and music.
