I really enjoy having the freedom to prioritize the things that I feel are most important within the description of a given course, and the chances to go a bit off the beaten path in team teaching and exploratory classes. It's great to have such a small community -- the sense that everyone knows everyone else and can see when something great happens is really energizing.
