7HS LEGO TEAM AT JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY
The results are in, and our guys have earned accolades for their performance at the Lego StateMeet, winning First Place for Teamwork. Jack Oliver, Jack Mayock, Nathan Illmensee, Faraz
Farooq and Noah Kim worked with three teammates from other Richmond schools, competing in the Virginia/DC region – the largest in the US with 372 teams! John Oliver reports that, “They absolutely blew the judges away with their balance, respect for differing opinions, equality of contribution, gracious professionalism and workmanlike response to some major challenges during the competition.” CONGRATULATIONS, GUYS!!
