Directions


1. Turn right out of Seven Hills parking lot 
onto Overbrook Road.

2. Proceed through two stoplight intersections,
staying on Overbrook. When you reach Chamberlayne 
Avenue, turn right.

4. Proceed south and cross the Belvidere Bridge.  
At end of bridge, turn right onto Riverside Drive.

5. There are two entrances into the James River 
Park System.  You are looking for the second 
entrance.  About ½ mile down you will see the first 
entrance.  About 1 mile after that turn right into
the second entrance, the Reedy Creek entrance into 
the James River Park System.

6. Bear right into the parking area. If you are 
dropping off your son, follow standard dropoff 
and pickup procedures in the parking lot loop.

7. If you are volunteering to help with River Day, 
go through the gated entrance, cross the train 
tracks, go through a second gate and turn right 
onto a gravel road.  About 100 yards ahead you 
will see a low gray building -- James River 
Nature/Wildlife Center. Park in front of the
building.
